Will you answer the call?
Melbourn Fete is an entirely volunteer-run event and we rely on other community-spirited people/groups to give a little time on the day to help things run smoothly. While there is a small group of regular volunteers, many hands make light work and we can always do with extra help! Things we need help with include (but are not limited to!):
- Setting up marquees early on the day of the Fete
- Marshalling the car park
- Guiding stallholders on to the field
- Clearing up at the end of the day
Our volunteers always have a laugh (usually at my expense) and more than a few friendships have been forged at the Fete – we hope that you will come and join our elite band of misfits!

PS – Volunteering does not mean having to join the committee, though it is always an option… :P
