Food and drink have always been a huge part of the Fete, and we are pleased to offer a wide-ranging lineup again this year. We have some favourites returning, some new names, and of course, a number of local groups fundraising through their food and drink stalls.
There will be tables and chairs available in the food court area, which will be close to the music tent so you can enjoy musical entertainment while you eat!
Picnics are also very welcome at the Fete, and there will be space on the grass to lay a picnic blanket at various points. Please do not obstruct the vehicle access lane if you are putting a mat down, or please be prepared to move if requested by a marshal or committee member – we don’t want you getting squished by a van (the paperwork is terrible).
Food vendors at the Fete this year will be:

- Mad Mac’s Mac & Cheese
- Melbourn Kebab Van
- Ocean Tree Fish and Chips
- Slice of Price
We also welcome back the ever-popular Home-Start Cafe in the Pavilion and a Hot Dog and S’mores stall run by 1st Orwell Scouts. Rounding off the list is the Bar, run this year by Melbourn Dynamos. All three groups are raising funds for their organisations, so please come and support them!
