Thanks to everyone who came and supported the Fete this year, and a massive thank you to all the volunteers on the day who helped to set up and clear up – we really couldn’t have done it without you!

Fete Report 2025

Who are we?
A group of volunteers from the village of Melbourn and the surrounding area. While our committee are the driving force behind events, we couldn’t do it without the incredible community that is Melbourn.
What do we do?
Events for the village of Melbourn, often in association with other amazing groups. Our main event is the annual Fete, but we also organise ‘Turn on to Christmas’, support Melbourn Open Gardens, with connections to Melbourn Amateur Dramatics Society (MADS) and the Melbourn Magazine.
Why do we do it?
For the people and businesses of the village, and to donate profits from our events to local good causes. And because we meet lots of wonderful people, have a lot of fun, helping to bring the community together in Melbourn.
